Mission Statement adapted by our congregation, February 10th, 2008:
"Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’ (John 20:21) Mission is the extension of God’s love to others through us. Guided by prayer, we give of our time, talent and money in service, education, and support so that others locally and beyond will come to experience Christ."
(Made possible through the work of our Mission Committee, the Deacons, Presbyterian Women, Worship & Outreach Committee, and our Christian Education & Fellowship Committee.)

National Mission Work
In 2008, we joined with four other coastal churches and journeyed to Waveland Mississippi, building homes and bringing hope to the people of the Gulf Coast, who are still suffering from Hurricane Katrina. We hope to have trips annually to place in need.
We support Gideon’s Ministry, international, which distributes Bibles nationally and globally.
We also give regularly to the Menaul School, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico through our soup label donations. Menaul’s Mission Statement:
"In an ecumenical; and multi cultural environment, Menaul School prepares students for success in college, and teachers them to engage the world as lifelong learners and ethical leaders in service to the community, respecting the Christian tradition.
Global Mission Work
We support David, Anya and Emily Jones, who are a missionary family in Ukraine through Crossworld ministry. They work with street orphans in Kiev, bringing them the hope of the gospel and teaching them about life. They provide a transition home for some orphanage graduates who have finished school and now are studying in trade schools. They also put on a "Kids Club" for parentless and neglected children ages 7-14. They do music, Bible stories, games and crafts. Through these activities, as well as regular worship services offered for the whole community, the establish relationships, and show these children how much God loves them.
We have regular communication with a sister church, St. Peter Nduma in Kenya, Africa. We participate in denominational offerings: One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost, Peacemaking, & Christmas Joy.
